Abstract

We provide farmland management services to landowners in Belgium. Our aim is to support landowners in a profitable and agro-ecological transition of their farmland. By agroecology we mean the development of farming systems that focus on natural soil health and fertility, reduce or eliminate synthetic inputs, maximise soil carbon sequestration and increase biodiversity.

Our team is composed of agronomists and farmers with a strong professional background in agricultural land management both in Belgium and in Europe.

Our goal: The application of regenerative agriculture principles

Regenerative agriculture offers a great opportunity for the Belgian and European agricultural sector to enhance the value of its soils. Indeed, it is an exceptional tool to address the current challenge and negative externalities partly caused by the principles of intensive agriculture. On our farm, we have succeeded in gradually applying these principles by adapting them to your specific context and to local market opportunities. We apply these principles to both the organic and conventional sectors.

Farmland Management in Belgium
Bringing innovation to diversity and profitability

Cover crops and reduced tillage are the first two ways to engage in farmland transition. We use these first two levers almost systematically to improve the biology of the soil and its intrinsic parameters, thus optimising and reducing the use of synthetic inputs and considerably improving the soil profile.

We offer access to a carbon payment program

By applying the principles of regenerative agriculture, farmers gradually increase the organic matter content of their soil and sequester carbon. They can therefore claim an additional remuneration for improving their greenhouse gas balance. We are partnering with our sister company's Soil Capital Carbon programme, dedicated to farms that want to be rewarded for their environmental impact.
